Oh Sony

>Micro4/3 system gets introduced, open to anyone. Team members include Olympus, Panasonic, Sigma, etc.
>Sony makes their own stupid proprietary "E-Mount" not allowing others to join their team.
>Micro4/3 system is awesome. Lots of people jumping on board. Sony is sad.

Sony has officially confirmed it will be sharing 'basic specifications' of its E-mount for free to manufacturers of lenses and mount adaptors starting April 1, 2011. A company statement says 'this move will open the way for manufacturers of various lenses and mount adaptors to develop products conforming to 'E-mount' specifications...

And I guess here's a picture, 'cause this is not a camera-rant blog, but a photoblog. Right?

  1. I was going to comment on how this photo had too much 'foreigner action' and not nearly enough of 'that girls knee high boots and miniskirt or shorts' action. But you obviously are aware of that from your comment.

    Oh, and the NEX series of cameras are pretty much the ugliest things in the world since ugly was invented.
